This Sunday, June 3rd, we will launch the first worship service of our 5th season at AVALON BEACH CHURCH!
We will focus on the Gospel of John this year. In the very first chapter, John reveals how Jesus came to us in ministry: Filled with GRACE AND TRUTH. That is going to be our theme all summer long.
Each week, we hope that you experience the TRUTH of God’s word and Christ’s Spirit of TRUTH moving deep in your heart. But here’s one of the best things of all about Jesus…He comes with both TRUTH and GRACE!
GRACE is that power from Christ that changes us in spite of what we deserve. It is His unmerited favor, it’s His healing love. Grace is moving in our lives from the cradle to the coffin. But it even goes further…we will be lost in the wonder of His TRUTH and GRACE for all of eternity.
As Annie Johnson Flint wrote in her great hymn:
“His love has no limit, His grace has no measure, His power has no boundary known unto men. For out of His infinite riches in Jesus, He giveth and giveth and giveth again!”
This year we are so blessed to have Eric and Kelsey Mayhew leading worship for us at ABC. They come with a love for the church and a heart of worship and mission.
Join us Sunday at 9am on the 30th Street beach in Avalon, NJ. Bring your beach chair, some Wawa coffee and a carload of family and friends.
There’s going to be a great outpouring of GRACE AND TRUTH.
