Yep, I’m counting the days until we can worship Jesus together again at Avalon Beach Church! In just 111 days, we will begin our 6th season of ABC. We look forward to seeing you on June 16th at 9am on the 30th Street beach in Avalon, NJ. That Sunday will be Father’s Day weekend, so we will not only as Jesus to bless the fathers that are present, we will also ask for all of us to be blessed by our Heavenly Father.
A couple of weeks ago, I preached a message from 1 Peter 2:4-12 at Wesley Church in Quarryville, PA. In that message I focused on Jesus as not only the Cornerstone of our faith, but also the Capstone. We also looked at who we are: living stones, a spiritual house, a holy/royal priesthood, a people belonging to God and aliens and strangers in this world.
