What a wonderful time we had at Avalon Beach Church today! 105 of us sang about “How Great Is Our God” and that “It Is Well With Our Soul.” We prayed together and we studied from Joshua chapter 3. We asked the Lord to help us “cross over” on the pathway to promise.
The steps on this path are: Covenant (v. 3,4), Consecration (v. 5), Courage (v.8,15,16) and Conquest (v. 10).
After we “cross over” into the promised land, there’s bad news and good news: the battle is not over, but the battle is not ours.
How GREAT is our God! His has the name above all names, and He is worthy of our praise!
Join us next Sunday at 9am on the 30th street beach in Avalon. We will be celebrating some baptisms in the ocean!
