“What God Will Be Able to Rescue You From My Hand?”

Here’s a little glimpse at what we experienced at Avalon Beach Church today:

King Nebuchadnezzar asked: “What God Will Be Able to Rescue You From My Hand?” (Daniel 3:15)

That question was posed to three Hebrew young men, Shadrach Meshach and Abednego. They were standing in front of Nebuchadnezzar’s fiery furnace with their lives being threatened because they refused to worship the wicked Babylonian king’s golden god.

These young men believed in God’s miraculous power to deliver them, but they were also willing to die for their faith: “If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up.” (Daniel 3:17,18)

That combination made them undefeatable.

Here is the answer to King Nebuchadnezzar’s question: “What God Will Be Able to Rescue You From My Hand?”

#1 – A God who reveals mysteries in answer to prayer (Daniel 2:17-19, 28)

#2 – A God who uses the enemy’s fire to only consume that which binds you (Daniel 3:21-25)

#3 – A God who shares His holiness (The boys didn’t even smell like smoke – Daniel 3:27)

#4 – A God who goes with you into the fire (Daniel 3:24,25)

That same God can rescue you today.

Join us next week for ABC: 9am on 30th street beach in Avalon, NJ.
